    Can someone work a miracle for me? I accidentally deleted theVirtual Disk on my 2950 Perc5/i. Is there any way to recover? I haven't tried anything yet because I'm scared I will mess it up more than it already is (if that's possible).</p Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi I have a Poweredge 2900 Server with PERC 4/di Controller. I cleared the Config on Raid Controller but i have a correct Configuration on a Disk. How can i copy the config from Disk to Controller? When i start the Server, at the end of the Boot come a Message Press Ctrl + M to run configuration utility or any other Key to continue. When i press a other Key then start the Windows correctly but the Config copied then not to the Controller. Please help

    Hello, I have one server with 4 HD (RAID 1 + RAID 1) in an ERC S300 RAID controller in my R510 Server. Now i having some problems adding 2 more HD, when i put them in the bay and go to RAID management (CTRL + M) the 2 new HD apear as virtual disk (like a RAID disk). When i try to delete the new virtaul disk the console give me an error something like "multiple selection disks" and i can't remove the disks to create a new Virtual disk RAID 1 configuration.     Hi, I have a poweredge R720 with 16 disks. After doing some bench mark testing of my Vmware virtual machine with IO Meter Im getting read and write IO errors. I suspect these are being caused by the RAID controller (h310), but I have no way of proving this. Whats the best way to identify whether the controller is causing a bottle neck/read write error?   • no 64 bit driver for PERC 6i and windows 2003??

    I am trying to install Windows server 2003 64-bit edition on PowerEdge 1950 with a PERC6i controller. On Dell driver page for 1950 box I found the 32bit driver but no driver for 64 bit Windows. Am I blind or missing something? The filename of the downloaded SAS PERC 6i was R194052.exe and it only contained the 32-bit version. Also, I dont understand why the 32bit Windows 2003 with the same 32-bit driver fails to detect the previously created volume on the controller. It used to be a Linux server and the Linux still boots from the RAID volume but Windows setup cannot detect any drives to install itself to. WHY? Thanks in advance for helpful info. M

    I would like to add external USB3 to my T310. Can anyone recommend a card that will work with the T310? Also, which slot should I use for the USB3 card? I am using just one slot, the one on the end, for my 6i RAID controller, so the remaining slots are available. In looking at SB3 cards on Newegg, I find that all available cards are muich shorter than the full length of the slots. Thanks.

    Hi All, I am planning to use Hardware RAID H710 controller on my new PET420 to setup RAID50 with 6-Disks. I am using iDRAC7 UI to manage the system as the main server is in different location. I would like to know information on the following. Is it possible to setup RAID50 remotely using iDRAC7 UI or by any means and what are the steps to do so. How can I identify RAID H710 controller failure, does any updates in the iDRAC7 are helpful or are there any other means.
